Kissing Devils on the Cheek

Local Durban boy Farryl Purkiss, grew up in Umhlanga and recieved his first guitar when he was 15, at age 16 he had written his first song, entitled, Ducking and Diving. In 2005 he released his first EP. Soon after that he was signed to 2Feet Music and started performing outside of South Africa leading to the release of his full length debut album, released in South Africa in 2007.

In 2009 he released Fruitbats & Crow. In the past few years, Farryl has toured Australia, Europe, USA and South Africa, with great success. He was also nominated for a SAMA award in 2006 and in 2010 he won Best Producer.

We managed to see him live at Ushaka Marine World recently and Teight Productions captured one of his latest singles.
