Announcing the first official fundraising tour for this year, Bridges for Music is proud to welcome German DJ and electronic music producer Loco Dice on his first visit to South Africa this February. Loco Dice’s tour forms part of Bridges for Music’s fundraising initiatives for educational projects like its music and multimedia school in Langa — or the various scholarship programmes that have already helped underprivileged South African artists to perform on global stages like Tomorrowland or Glastonbury. Witchfest Open Air 2015

2 to 6 April 2015 will see the biggest metal festival ever to take place on African soil. Witchfest Open Air 2015 #?WFOA2015 will be held at the Klein Koperaal Farm just outside Johannesburg and will feature some of the biggest international names in the metal world with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Hatebreed, Epica and Decapitated (to name just a few) joining the bill. This ensemble of international metal awesomeness will also be supported by the very best the South African metal scene has to offer.

The legendary Jim Rose will be MC along with Marq Vas from South African metal legends Metalmorphosis.

The festival is set to make history as the first of its kind in South Africa.

The Curious Incident (UK) new EP release: Penny Lonesome.

UK based alternative pop band The Curious Incident toured SA in November and December 2014 to promote their new EP “Penny Lonesome”.  The band`s vocalist Cavey Roberts says: “The tour was an absolute blast! We overcame loadshedding, wildlife on the highways and e-tolls to meet some of our favourite people in the world at our gigs. We played by candlelight, we played under electric lights, and have fallen head over heels for SA.
